Resourcing Ministry Discussion 1

Hi Folks:
A number of people have asked about staying in contact and sharing ideas following the first two sessions of Resourcing Ministry held on Jan 26th and Feb 2nd.

The simplest way I think is to use this CCDL Blog.     You'll see that you can leave comments and questions and you can follow up on each others posts.

We'll make sure that any postings are sent out to the whole group when any arrive.

Two of the documents we promised in Session 2 have now been sent out by email - the workbook and the tracking instrument.   However the closing video is a very large and so I  have put this in a drop box folder.
Look out for an invitation to join the 'drop box' - probably in your Junk/Spam folder - and then copy and   paste the file onto to your hard drive.    If you drag it it will disappear from the box!

What this Blog is for!

Welcome to the CCDL (Centre for Church Development Leadership) weblog!
One of the ongoing aims of the Centre is to be a networking point for church development leaders - to be a place where church leaders:
- can share ideas with others
- stories of what's working for you
- ideas and perspectives you are discovering through your reading and thinking
- how you are following up on CCDL courses and seminars
- resources to which we should all be paying attention
Its really all about sharing the many gifts of leadership that have been bestowed upon us in the mercy and grace of God....and each one of us remembering that the gift you have really is given to be shared.

So do use the possiblities offered here to contribute your thoughts, ideas and experiences to the wider United Church community - or if you are shy ...pass them on to the Centre coordiantor, Ron Ewart, for posting.
